Simon Rose
Senior Analyst
Simon abandoned a City career as a stockbroker to become a financial reporter at the BBC, broadcasting on financial matters, principally for Radio 4 and the World Service but also wrote extensively for The Sunday Times.
He became a film reviewer, reviewing movies for the Daily Mirror and for the BBC’s regional radio network. He also worked as a screenwriter, winning the Orange Prize for Screenwriting and seeing his film The Flying Scotsman (Jonny Lee Miller, Brian Cox) opening the Edinburgh Film Festival.
He also ran the company that made the world’s first interactive movie.
He is the author of 14 books on diverse topics.

Senior Editor
Dr. Jennifer Doolan
Jennifer is a Doctor of Philosophy from Cambridge University and has edited books in fiction and non-fiction, covering novels and short stories, history and biography, anthologies, academic monographs and more.
She has worked as a research coordinator and project manager at Cambridge University.
She is the PressChoice Senior Editor of content and guides much of the qualitative research content.

Sam Davidson
Research Coordinator
Sam has over 20 years of experience in event management, music entertainment and public relations. She works to coordinate our reputation research and video production and is a key member of the team.

Duncan Hess
Content Director
Duncan has over a twenty-five year period, directed all of the BBC's main News and Political programmes, including: Breakfast, Newsnight and the 10 O'Clock News, to Newsround, Breakfast With Frost and The Andrew Marr Show.
In addition to a huge number of live news and business programming, Duncan has also directed a wide range of other factual tv programmes, including: Sunday Morning Live: Fern Britton Meets; Adrian Chiles Abroad, Wyoming; Breaking In To Auschwitz; Our World; One Square Mile; Weekend World; Working Lives and Horizons.
He has an in-depth working knowledge of how the media works and how to bring messages alive on television.

Jason Read
Graphic Designer
Jason leads our work on data presentation design.
When not with us - you can often find him at his piano and guitar. Jason is an editor, director, cinematographer and digital animator. He also regularly runs training courses in all aspects of video production for the BBC, ITV, Sky, CNN and many others.

Shirley Soskin
Strategy Consultant
Shirley has spent over 25 years in communications, founding and later chairing the leading consumer brand PR consultancy, Clarion Communications. Following the acquisition of Clarion by WPP, she has continued to provide senior counsel to clients and agencies on brand and corporate reputation.
Advising some of the world’s largest organisations, including 15 years working with The Coca-Cola Company. Shirley has also worked with Unilever, United Biscuits, Glaxo Smithkline, Sony, Disney, Center Parcs, Royal Opera House, Cadbury Schweppes, Health Education and John Lewis.
Shirley has recently specialised in employee and stakeholder relations through her own consultancy Silverhawk Partners.

Yousef Anani
Content Producer
Yousef is an award-winning storyteller with 25 years of experience in creating accurate, persuasive, multi-media content for both agencies (e.g., Ogilvy) and international news broadcasters (e.g., BBC, Sky, Bloomberg and Associated Press). He also launched the immensely popular BBC World Service Radio Podcast. He has previously worked on media campaigns for BASF, Nescafe, IBM, Lenovo, Ministry of Defence and the Home Office.

Isabel Donaldson
Content Producer
Isabel has degrees from Oxford University and London University. She has worked for CNN's business programming and as an Assistant Producer for Channel 4 News.

Chris Stenlake
Data Consultant
Chris began his career as a geologist, first analysing data for Linc Energy. But he soon started digging for other kinds of nuggets and turned his technical analysis skills to business consulting, where he became the Insight Manager for the consultancy group, Peloton. His team dedicated itself to transforming high potential businesses into high impact companies.
Chris is now a key member of the PressChoice team designing new ways of both analysing data and creating impactful ways of presenting messages in clear and precise formats.
